“ My windsreen was smashed by a stone. When I conatcted my Insurance company for a replacement I asked to have it upgraded to a heated one. They said that was okay but that I would have to pay the cost differeance to the windscreen comapany. On contacting the screen company they said that they had no mechanism for such payments and that the insurance co' pay a set fee regardless of screen type. I made several calls to both parties to try to pay the difference but neither would take my money. In the end I gave up and let them fit the heated screen.” Mr feeling guilty 44, Essex - Ref 261
